ADVENT & CHRISTMAS EVENTS
For Advent this year , we will be exploring some of the different Christmas traditions that have developed a round the world. The sea son will kick off with our Hanging of the Greens service on December 1 , to which we will be adding an Advent Spiral. On December 14, we will head to Lindsborg to experience their St . Lucia festival l, sign up here or call the office so we can arrange transportation! Then, on the 15th, the youth group i s sponsoring a St. Lucia cookie reception and we will have a dance performance a s well. Next, we will discover some traditions coming out of Mexican tradition, followed by our traditional Christmas Eve Service. The season will wrap up with Boxing Day on the 5th Sunday, where we will have opportunities to cook and engage in other service for those in need.
