Top-level questions
  • What is it like?

A intimate congregation offers an environment where all know each other. Education, worship, service and fellowship offerings provide an opportunity for all to grow in their knowledge and application of the love of Christ. You’ll find friends.

  • What about my kids?

With an “experienced” congregation, children are a welcome presence. A Children’s message and a Children’s area are offered during worship with youth helpers on-hand to assist. A youth group meets with other church youth groups to maximize the impact of youth ministry in the community. Sunday classes and worship are adaptive with periodic "Share Your Gifts" Sundays providing an intergenerational environment where all ages can experience spiritual growth.

  • Where do I park?

Parking lot on north side of church. Enter at the portico just off that parking lot where you will be met by a friendly face to direct you. Parking on 15th and Payne streets is also available with entrance directly into the sanctuary doors on the south side of the church.

  • What do I wear?

Ties seem to have disappeared from Woodland worship. Does that tell you anything? Wear what is comfortable.

  • How can I get connected?

Our two Sunday School classes (9:45) are good mechanisms for meeting folks. Worship service (11:00) starts and ends with folks visiting in the pews. Social media (Facebook) can be used to observe the vitality of the congregation.
